With that off my chest, let’s go back to the more congenial version of Major League Baseball, 1961.
Welcome to the sixties! A decade of change and excitement in Major League Baseball. It started with Mantle and Maris and ended with the “AMAZIN” Mets. In between, there was the pitching of Koufax and Drysdale, Bob Gibson, Denny McClain and Tom Seaver. Relive the heroics of Mazeroski, the Robinsons, “Hammerin” Hank and Yaz. Also view,arguably, the most exciting pennant race finish of all time, the 1967 Bosox triumph. And let’s not neglect the rise to power of the lowly Pirates. All this and so much more.
